Dogs are good at recycling
Annie, the dog who lives with us, is very good at helping Mrs. Hodges. Mrs. Hodges is so busy cleaning the seven litter boxes she doesn’t have time to break up all of the cardboard boxes into small pieces.
Annie lies to help.
She likes to help with recycling. Mrs. Hodges leaves cardboard boxes on the floor in the kitchen and Annie shreds them for her.
Annie likes to rip any papers she finds on the floor. Once she found some white pieces of paper stacked together with a staple in the corner. Annie shredded those papers too.
Annie once found a small piece of green paper, it was shaped like a rectangle with a drawing of someone on the front of it, and a drawing of a building on the back of it. Annie chewed up the green paper too. Mrs. Hodges taped all of the pieces back together again.
Do you live with a dog who helps you with recycling?
I don’t chew paper. I am a cat. I purr.
