I am the artistic director for my web-site
Last night, we sat by the fire and watched a movie about a dog, Hatchi. My senior staff member drew cartoons of me for my new web-site design, while we watched. She draws the pictures, but I get final say in the drawing that is used. She is, after all, my staff. I showed her which one I wanted.
My senior staff wanted to see the movie, Hatchi, because she use to live in Japan. She said she would meet her friends at Shibuya Station, where the statue of the dog is, that the movie is based on.
“Meet me at the dog, at 1:00 p.m.”
I think meeting at 3:00 p.m. would have been better. The dog Hatchi waited for his master Professor Uno to return from his job teaching at the University in Tokyo every day at 3:00 p.m. The professor died while he was at work and never returned. Hatchi returned to the station every day at 3:00 p.m.for the next nine years. He died waiting in the same spot.
I know the dog was very loyal, and I did cry at the end of the movie. But, I would have preferred to watch a movie about a cat.
I have ordered the movie, The Cat From Outer Space, from Amazon.
Wouldn’t it sound better to say, “Meet me at the cat? or “Meet me at the Space Ship?”
I will let you know how the movie is, after I see it.
It is time to go and wake my staff. I am hungry, and the litter box is full. We have seven litter boxes.
Perhaps we need more.
P.S. The movie is an affiliate link. It won’t cost you any more, but the pennies I get helps pay for kitty litter.
